Program

Rain gardens: how to combine the useful with the pleasant

By: Mélanie Glorieux, M. Eng. landscape architect, Project director and associate, Rousseau Lefebvre

Schedule

  • Wednesday november 18 from 10:15 to 11:00 (En direct)

Description

The rain garden collects runoff water, promotes its absorption by plants and transpiration by foliage, and allows the water to percolate in the ground on the site. By including these landscape design techniques on private lots, it is thus possible to collectively reduce the impact of urbanization on the municipal system and the related receiving environments.
