Québec Vert’s mission is to represent and promote the ornamental and environmental horticulture and urban agriculture sector and to foster its growth in a sustainable development perspective.
Québec Vert is the “spokesperson” and reference in matters relating to Quebec’s ornamental and environmental horticulture, whether the audience is the general public, the media or the various levels of government: federal, provincial and municipal.
Québec Vert’s mandate also includes raising awareness regarding the benefits of horticulture and healthy environmental practices in municipalities as well as in the general public.
A federation of 12 business and professional associations, Québec Vert oversees more than twenty coordination committees. Québec Vert cooperates, as a member, with more than 40 Quebec and Canadian committees as well as one international committee.
