Société de Verdissement du Montréal métropolitain (SOVERDI)

Soverdi is a nonprofit organization that has been implementing urban greening strategies for the past 30 years to expand the urban forest and improve the health and well-being of Montreal citizens. With its turnkey greening programs offered at highly affordable costs, Soverdi enables all sectors of society — healthcare and education institutions, businesses, retailers, and individual citizens — to contribute to creating a greener and Greater Montreal. Thanks to its mobilization efforts and on-the-ground initiatives, over 130,000 trees have been planted, playing a crucial role in helping cities implement the necessary strategies in our world-wide mission to adapt to climate change.
