Société de Verdissement du Montréal métropolitain (SOVERDI)

Soverdi is a non-profit organization that has been active for over 30 years. Its mission is to increase and diversify the urban forest through the implementation of greening strategies and tree planting initiatives in order to improve the health and quality of life of the population. Through its turnkey greening programs offered at highly accessible costs, Soverdi enables all sectors of society — including healthcare and educational institutions, businesses, retailers, and citizens — to contribute to the creation of a greener Greater Montreal. Thanks to its mobilization efforts and on-the-ground actions, more than 150,000 trees have already been planted, playing an essential role in climate change adaptation.
